Welcome to AmartiRica, a 4-hectare paradise nestled in the lush tropical forest of the Matapalo Savegre Hills, within a secure gated community.

The name AmartiRica holds a special meaning for us, blending the Italian word Amarti (Loving Yourself) with the Spanish Rica (Rich, as in Costa Rica—the Rich Coast*).
It reflects our journey of creating a haven of love, connection, and natural beauty. Our story began in Tuscany, Italy, where we created our first home, Podere Amarti. Finding this slice of paradise in Costa Rica felt like fate—a "Rich Love" indeed!

 A Symphony of Nature

Exploring the property, we discovered a unique harmony between the jungle and the ocean. Amid towering trees and vibrant vegetation, the refreshing ocean breeze carries whispers of the sea. Hidden within the foliage, we found a window which offers glimpses of the ocean—a constant reminder of Costa Rica's dual riches.

The wildlife passing in front of our terrace is breathtaking: White-faced Capuchin monkeys frolic in the royal palms, spider monkeys leap through the canopy, and toucans sing their melodies. Scarlet Macaws grace the skies with flashes of red and gold. As the sun sets, the jungle quiets, giving way to the rhythmic sounds of the ocean and of the creek—a perfect goodnight lullaby.

Our Accommodations

AmartiRica offers three unique and brand new spaces to immerse yourself in this natural paradise.

Each house has been thoughtfully designed following a Feng Shui analysis, ensuring a harmonious flow of energy to promote balance, well-being, and tranquility. The choice of colors, furnishings, and decorative elements reflects this vision, creating a space that not only feels inviting but also nurtures a deep connection to nature and inner peace.

Our adventure began with the Jungle Bus, a one-of-a-kind experience for travelers seeking novelty and intimacy within the wild.

The Jungle Bus

Set amidst a vibrant sea of butterflies, The Jungle Bus was our first home on this magical land. Designed with love and care by Costa Rican architect Francesco Bracci, alongside the Italian-inspired interiors curated by Harshil’s sister, Francesca Chiostri, this space effortlessly blends comfort and elegance while remaining true to its adventurous spirit.

This unique space features:

• A cozy, all-view bedroom with large windows that invite the jungle inside.

• A sofa that transforms into a double bed for added flexibility.

• A fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals in the heart of nature.

• Ceiling fans and Air conditioning to ensure a restful stay.

• A cozy terrace where you can relax, enjoy your morning coffee, and take in the vibrant sights and sounds of the jungle, enjoying an ocean view window.

• A private indoor bathroom complemented by a stunning outdoor shower, offering a truly immersive connection to the natural surroundings.

The outdoor shower is a special highlight, allowing you to bathe under the canopy of trees while enjoying the sounds and scents of the jungle—a freeing and unforgettable experience.

With its thoughtful design and many windows, The Jungle Bus offers an all-in experience of jungle living, perfectly balancing comfort and adventure.

Casita Jungle Nest

Modern yet cozy, the Casita Jungle Nest is an ideal retreat for couples or intimate friends looking to reconnect with nature and tranquility. Spanning 50 sqm, it features:

• A thoughtfully designed bedroom for restful nights, supplied with ceiling fan and air-conditioning (if necessary).

• The bedroom features a walk-in closet, which doubles as a changing room and is equipped with a 24/7 dehumidifier to ensure your belongings stay fresh and dry.

• One bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen for your convenience.

• Custom, handmade furniture crafted from Costa Rican cedar.

• modern amenities like a washer and dryer

• A private terrace where you can unwind, savor the jungle’s sounds and sights, the creek and ocean’s music and enjoy the fresh Costa Rican breeze 

• Large windows that invite natural light and ventilation.

• The house was completed in December 2024, so the plants in our garden are still growing: very soon they will be blossoming in their full beauty!

• Although surrounded by the lush jungle, you’ll never feel isolated. The main house is just 50 meters away from the Casita, ensuring you’re always connected and supported whenever needed.Experience comfort in harmony with the serene beauty of the jungle.

Casa Sinfonía Tropical

Step into Casa Sinfonía Tropical, the largest of our accommodations offering the ultimate blend of modern comfort and jungle charm. This bright and airy 120 sqm home is ideal for families or groups of 4 seeking a tranquil escape immersed in the soothing sounds of birds, the creek and the ocean.

Features:

• Two private bedrooms, each equipped with ceiling fans and air conditioning for personalized comfort.

• En-suite bathrooms in both bedrooms, providing privacy and convenience.

• A cozy living room, furnished with a three-seat couch and two plush armchairs, strategically placed to overlook a large window. This “live TV screen” showcases the ever-changing beauty of the jungle—your personal connection to nature’s performance.

• A fully equipped kitchen, stocked with essentials for home-cooked meals.

• Premium touches like custom furniture handcrafted from Costa Rican cedar and fine Italian linens for a touch of elegance.

• The main bedroom features a walk-in closet, which doubles as a changing room and is equipped with a 24/7 dehumidifier to ensure your belongings stay fresh and dry.

• The long terrace offers the perfect space to soak in the sights and symphony of the jungle, whether you are enjoying a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine, while enjoying the window on the ocean.
